My role as your marriage celebrant and founder of "The Association of Civil Marriage Celebrants of Australia Inc" I spent years as 'guest speaker' which taught me voice projection and clear diction. (see menu About Me)
One of the most important points is to be reliable. I always arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the arranged time, to ensure everything is in place for the arrival of the bride.
Nothing works better than a friendly happy atmosphere, charm and humour, especially when everything is not progressing as planned. The best man has left the rings behind or button holes in the fridge, every married couple has their own story about what was not going to happen but does, in almost every case it adds to making your wedding day unique.
Everything you can imagine has taken place over the years at my wedding ceremonies-the father of the bride who was giving his daughter away arrived without her-the groom arrived at the wrong reception centre, the bride was so stressed, the make up artists had to redo her make up which was removed by her tears - and many many more stories. I could write volumes. By maintaining my relaxed and calm manner I can guarantee that everything will run smoothly and the world will not end.
From my experience with lecturing, teaching and being in front of the general public for many years, I make sure that all is in place as previously arranged.
At your first appointment you will receive "The Statement of Fees and The Selection of Wedding Ceremonies" assisting you to choose the ceremony you feel is most suitable or use as a guide line to write your own which also includes every detail of what will be happening on your wedding day, so nothing is left to chance on such an important day.
Once the Notice of Intended Marriage form is completed the legal documents are prepared by me and registered on line the day of your wedding.
With my years of experience, I am sure you will be delighted with both my fee and your wedding day. [see Testimonals]
